Just Being Dogs

I´ve read a lot of comments lately from fellow dog mushers about the snow melting and their missions to savoir as many sled runs as possible. 

We had a busy season filled with heavy training, some exciting racing and an awesome time with the furry kids on the trail. 

And now we all (four and two legged) actually enjoy the time together, in a different way. 

We play, we chase, we bond and socialize the young ones and the newcomers who arrived right when the busy season started and who need a proper integration into the family (pack). We enjoy walks in the woods or on the frozen lake. We also spend quite a bit of time and focus on 101 training and bonding, for which we find clicker a perfect tool, very popular among the dogs.

But most of all, they enjoy the time they deserve so much after this long, hard, busy season:
