Inger-Marie Haaland crossed the finishline in Alta five minutes ago! She had a historicaly fastest run from Karasjok to Alta and finished with 9 dogs. She gives the biggest tribute for the team´s success to her beloved lead dog Ore.
Her acumulated running time was 75 hours and 23 minutes, while her rest time totals 51 hours and 27 minutes.

The most exciting news is that Inger-Marie is a rookie! She became historically the first rookie and the first woman to ever win this tough event! It took her 5 days, 6 hours and 50 minutes to complete the 1000km Finnmarkslopet. Needless to say, Inger-Marie also broke the record!
Huge congratulations! Female mushers rock! :)
Closely following and on their way to Alta are Kjell Brennodden, Trond Orslien and Roger Dahl.
Mikael is still on his way to Karasjok.
