150.000 Mark And A New Journey

My blog just reached 150.000 page visits since we added a viewer counter to it. Wow!

Thank you all so much for your interest in my articles and stories of my life with the dogs in the woods!

A lot of time had passed since the first posts have been written (whose original purpose was monitoring my journey to better condition and health).

In memory of Granite - the most special dog
I had ever had the honor of knowing
The blog grew into the account of our adventures with our huskies on the trail, documenting our pursuit of self sufficient lifestyle, and lately into sharing the importance and huge benefits of natural approaches in health care and nutrition of animals, as well as positive training methods and ethical treatment and dog-man partnership, of course supported by our amazing experiences and success stories with this approach, that I call the Natural Way.

It´s been a journey that taught me a lot and I don´t mean solely about blogging and writing. The years went by, our dogs became seasoned long distance sled dogs, we have become good at foraging and utilizing wild herbs, berries and many other gifts of mother nature. But we also learned to deal with situations differently than an average person, living in the civilization, would, and we sharpened our survival skills. Our passion and respect for all living (and yes, that very much includes also plants) grew enormously and most of all, the love and bond we share with our dogs reached dimensions that cannot be explained unless experienced.

Last but absolutely not least, this journey is amazing because of you - our readers, followers, friends, supporters, sponsors, partners and seasonal Kipp d´Amundsen Crew members! Being able to share all this with you and seeing how our experiences, advice and tips are helping you and your animals, makes us truly happy!

I would like to take this opportunity to not only thank you, but also to let you know that I have finally (with little or big help of my friends) managed to reach one of my dreams. Or, as a matter of fact two.

As many of you know, I finally published my very first book. And along with the book, I have been working on creating my natural nutrition, health care and animal communication (training, behavior, etc.) consulting services.

My website will be finished shortly, along with online advisory board and much information on how I can help you and your animals.

It´s been a long road and it is opening another amazing chapter in my life, which I am excited to be sharing with you, also through these pages!

Again, thank you so much, I am thrilled by your interest!

Lots of Love and Happy Trails!
