We ended up driving along the main road, since the forrest roads turned into pure ice. I don´t remember such situation since the second year after we moved here, when a sudden warm spell in December melted everything down and we had to train the dogs on the roads, ziggzagging between the neighbourhood villages, for 40km at a time.
It is rather tough on the dogs´ feet, but it actually perked their spirits, bringing a welcomed change. Hopefully, this will be a very short temporary solution, before the ice melts down completely, so we can be back on our "favourite" mud. Better mud, than ice. Although snow would be the most exciting thing.
Everybody, do the snow dance, please!
