Autumn Messangers

These cheeky guys belong to autumn as much as the golden leafs on birches, the ripen rowanberries, crispy air and misty mornings. They arrive each year around middle of September and feast on the rowanberries for a few weeks, before heading south.
They are almost like parrots - cheeky, comunicative and very curious. As I split the wood, they were feasting on the berries as close to me as just one meter. They had to pay their toll for the food though - and let me capture them closely with my not very professional camera.

Thank you Rick. I am really looking forward to getting a professional camera one day - that will be real pleasure to blog :)
