Thank You Mother Nature

For the amazing, rich wild crops this year!

They will be cooked, jammed, jellied, frozen and dried for the coming winter and until next summer. They will also be used to make fresh fruit dumplings, pancakes, waffles and desserts from.

Thank you for the unbelievably huge blueberries

For the super sweet, plentiful raspberries

For the great summer that gives us opportunity to harvest a lot of the nature´s treasures

Krtek and Mouse were harvesting with us. They were totally ecstatic about the raspberries :)

For the breathtaking views, the pristine wilderness and peace. And also for the plentiful fireweed, which will soon be picked to make fireweed jelly and to be dried and stored for the winter for healing teas and as vitamin and antioxidant supplement for the dogs.

And also thank you Mother Nature for my great partner. He is the best at making blueberry waffles. Now all I need to do is persuade him to make them for breakfast tomorrow! :)
