This is an excellent article (and news).
It´s been written two years ago and circulated among some of my Facebook friends - mostly sled dog enthusiasts.
But because "wheezers" (medical term: Congenital Laryngeal Paralysis, or CLP for short) is a serious health condition that many dogs and dog breeds suffer from (and can actually die from), I believe it´s always good to spread this info more.
While in my neck of the woods (and many other areas) a surgery like this one is a utopia unfortunately, I still believe that it will eventually become more common and spread internationally.
Please note also the mention of research - if you have a dog with wheezers, you are most welcome to participate in this research by providing information for statistical purposes.
