Last week I ran dogs at night for the first time of the 2010-2011 season.
And besides me, there were fourteen other creatures, totally excited about it.
What´s so great about running in the dark, when you can´t even take nice pictures and all you see is the dogs´ silouetes in the bright light of the atv reflectors?
We mushers get excited about awcward things - such as the shorter days and longer nights, temperatures below zero, night sky, frost, snowstorms, or to running dogs in the darkness of a silent forrest, wearing our headlamps, or preferably just using the moonlight.We are a strange group of people, anyway :)
